Dear guys! Tell me, please, who knows what holiday is coming soon? and do you know what the word Easter means.
The word originated from the Hebrew "Transition"
It is a celebration of victory over death On this day Jesus Christ rose, The evil men of Judah crucified Christ on the cross for his good works and for his love for men.
The news that people began to torment God
Rooks brought us north
Coniferous thickets have darkened
The quiet cries of the streams began to cry
And others lead more bitterly than the first
They brought starlings to the wilderness
On the cross, crucified, forgiving everyone
God Died, "Savior of Our Souls"
Why "Savior of our souls?" because Christ gave his life for us all When crucified on the cross - he died Jesus' disciples removed the body from the cross and performed the burial rite, wrapped his body in a shroud and put it in a cave It was on Friday, and on Sunday the third day after death, Jesus Christ rose from the dead. HE conquered death, gave us a new life that will never end.
In spring, all nature awakens from a long winter sleep. In Rus', Easter is celebrated, half the time coincides with the ancient holiday of the revival of the spring forces of Nature. On Easter Day, it is generally accepted that the sun plays on this day. On this day, people climbed onto the roof and watched the sun burn brightly and play.
Sunny, bucket!
Look out the window!
Sunny, ride!
Red, dress up!
All nature rejoices Spring is everywhere and in everything, full of pressure, fury and warmth Fire of heaven is the sun, it warms more and more. Green, flowers, birdsong - all for joy on this day They say - on this day a dove and a dove kiss.
From a distant country
Swallows fly
They chirp merrily
People are told
People wake up
Spring is coming to us
And with Spring and Easter
Joy brings us
It descends to us on its wings
Easter is bright from heaven
Russian ancient Easter
With variegation and crowd
Genuine, epic
- The one we celebrate with family
We'll break our fast early in the morning
According to the way of life of the elderly
And we hope to love and live
Another thousand centuries
Let's get together and not quarrel
There is hope - we will live!
Smells like a tart acacia,
The ringing is floating in the native land...
Come back, celebrate, nation
Russian Easter.
Now, guys, I'll tell you how Russian Easter is celebrated. Easter is celebrated for seven days, i.e. all week from April 15-22 and therefore this week is called "Bright Easter Week" Every day of the week is also called bright: bright Monday, bright Tuesday, etc.
This whole period is about customs and traditions that you could write and talk about a lot. And we'll talk about some of them today. As I said, Easter is celebrated for 7 days. On the first day of the hostess - wives stay at home and men go to guests. Usually tables are set everywhere. They sit for a short time for half an hour and go on to other acquaintances. You definitely need to visit all relatives, then good friends, friends, especially old and old. On the second day, women came to visit. But in our modern times on these days at Easter people conspire and just go to each other. And for children the most joyful moment comes early in the morning. In a beautiful new outfit with a large bag, the kids collected colored eggs that day, and then bragged about who collected the most. All week there were bells ringing, round dances in the clearings, singing, playing, joking, laughing. And of course, the symbol of this holiday is the colored red egg.
Since antiquity, the egg has been considered a symbol of the spring sun, bringing with it life, joy, warmth, light, the rebirth of nature. Just as a new life emerges from an egg, so the world was reborn through the Resurrection of Christ. Where did this custom of painting eggs for Easter come from? When Christ was crucified and he died, and on the third day he was resurrected, Mary Magdalene came with this message to Emperor Tiberius. It was customary to come with a gift, and since Mary was a poor woman, she gave a simple chicken egg with the words - "Christ is Risen!"
The emperor replied that it was hard to believe, as yves that a white egg could turn red And at that very moment the egg turned red Modern scholars argue that Easter eggs, coloured and consecrated in the church, have such energy, such a power of influence, that they are capable of awakening historical memory and sanctifying our souls Easter eggs in Rus' were generally considered amulets, and they were called differently:
- dyed (colored in one color);
- speckled (mottled);
- Eggs (eggs made of wood, clay and other materials).
In Rus', it was customary to protect an illuminated egg until Easter. Such eggs did not spoil. With their help, damage and the evil eye were removed.
There was a whole ritual of making eggs for the holiday They were prepared on a special day It was believed that eggs were better to dye on Thursday It was customary to take spring or clean snow water It was necessary to take it early in the morning, without talking to anyone, not turning back or to the side. Before starting to dye, they put on a festive costume. Dye eggs are not only served at the festive table, they are usually given as gifts throughout the Easter week. Decorative eggs, Easter wreaths, postcards, toys (chickens, ducklings, nests) can be given. Gifts are wrapped and tied with a ribbon in yellow and green. True fame and world fame of masterpieces of world art have been gained by the FABERGE company Easter eggs. 56 unique eggs were created in this workshop for Russian emperors. Remarkable collections of Easter eggs have been preserved in many Russian museums.
Well, the long-awaited moment has come - now you and I will paint eggs. Our eggs will be called dyes, i.e. painted the same color.
The egg was also mentioned in Russian proverbs. Let us remember them now:
- Dear testicle for Christ's Day (this is about a favor);
- Give me a testicle, and even a peeling one (about a fat, lazy person);
- Even though it’s a black chicken, it sits on white testicles (about stern-looking people with a kind heart);
- He will go through the balls - he will not crush a single one (they talk about overly cautious people);
- Give the fool a testicle - what he rolled is what he broke (that’s what they say about an awkward person).
As I said, on this day we sang, danced, danced in circles and of course played Our ancestors rolled eggs on the ground It was believed that this promotes fertility. We will play with you, roll eggs.
- Egg Rolling Game (roll into a box)
- Spoon Eggs Game (who can get the message faster)
- Russian bowling game (who can knock down more objects with an egg).

Since ancient times, there has been a belief that a blossoming tree can give health, strength and beauty to everyone who touches it. In Rus', willow was considered such a tree, because it begins to bloom before other trees.
April 8 - was Palm Resurrection. There was such a custom in the old days - willows whipped both children and adults with branches and at the same time said:
Verba bloost
It hits you to tears
Willow blue
Doesn't hit hard,
Verba red
It hits in vain,
Verba bela
He hits the case
Verba bloost
It hits you to tears
I don't hit
Verba hits
Verba bloost
It hits you to tears.
All illnesses and failures were believed to have gone away from this man Let's play the game of "Pin" now. I will touch everyone with willow, and you should name the word associated with our holiday.
EASTER hasn't been without a swing. Everyone swayed from young to old. Of course, we can't install a swing here, but now we'll try to sing ditties about a swing:
There is a swing on the mountain
I'll go swing
I'll take a walk this summer
I'll get married in winter
I'll swing high
I'll see far away
Where my brother walks
Chervono rolls an egg
Easter will come soon
Who will rock us
Like the outside guys
There are not enough ropes
On Holy Week
We hung swings
First you'll sway
Then you get married.
Look how beautiful our eggs turned out!
Easter - day of universal equality and love and mercy.
Don't skimp, guys on good deeds and deeds!
Don't offend your younger ones, listen to your older ones
Help the poor and sick.
And then you will live a long and happy life.
In conclusion, I wish everyone:
Hopes, Faith, and Love
Beautiful, joyful miracles
And let the warmth sound now
Truly Christ is Risen!
