Explanatory note
The big summer change is given to schoolchildren to improve their health, physical training, and recuperate after a long school year.
But it is also a time of action, testing and testing one’s strength, a time of mastering and understanding the world around us.
Rest means switching activities During the holidays, you can energize your child for the new school year. But only if he spends this time actively, straining his body and mind, developing in play, physical and psychological exercises. As a rule, children's active recreation takes place in sports and recreation camps, sanatoriums, and day camps for children at educational institutions.
In order to organize summer holidays for children at the Bolsherechenskaya Secondary School No. 2, the START day camp has been operating for more than ten years.
This year, 150 students will be treated in one shift. Age of children from 7 to 12 years old. It is planned that the summer camp will be attended by "special care" children, children who dropped out of kindergarten due to age - future first-graders.
The most pressing issue to date is the promotion of children's health V.A. Sukhomlinsky wrote: ‘Caring for a child's health is the most important work of a teacher’ Therefore, the team of teachers at our camp considers children’s health in different aspects:
Social aspect of health - the child’s ability to optimally adapt to social conditions, the desire to constantly increase the level of communicative competence, and gaining a sense of belonging to all humanity.
Creative aspect of health - a child’s ability to create activity, the desire to creatively express himself in life.
Emotional aspect of health - the child's ability to adequately express his feelings, understand and accept the feelings of others.
Physical aspect of health - ability to develop the physical component of health.
The intellectual aspect of health is a child's ability to develop intelligence and use it (the mind is a tool that one must be able to use "wisest").
Personal aspect of health - the child’s ability to self-realize, the ability to set goals and achieve them, choosing acceptable means.
Spiritual aspect of health - the ability to develop spiritual nature, express the highest values in life.
Very important today is the formation in children and adolescents of motives, concepts, beliefs in the need to preserve their health and strengthen it by introducing them to a healthy lifestyle.
Health is the first and most important need of a person, determining his ability to work and ensuring the harmonic development of the individual.
The children will enjoy competitions, competitions, games, fascinating stories about sports, the history of the Olympic Games, and the most diverse sports games of our time.
All activities of the START day camp are timed to coincide with the Year of Children's Health in the Omsk Region and the regional sports festival "Queen of Sports "Bolsherechye-2012"
