The relevance of the programme

The development of the road network, the sharp increase in the number of transport has caused a number of problems. It should be noted that in recent years, due to the increase in the number of transport, the situation on the roads has become much more complicated. To prevent the growth of child road traffic injuries, it is necessary to teach school-age children the rules of safe behavior on the street and the formation of special skills. If an adult can control their behavior on the street, it is very problematic for a child. For school-age children, syncretism of perception is characteristic, that is, the child does not control the situation, but the situation captures the child so much that he does not notice the surrounding reality and is often in danger. The main cause of the accidents for a number of years is the crossing of the road in an unspecified place, in front of nearby transport. The main reason is that children have ambivalence about the car. On the one hand, they are afraid of these huge growling cars, rushing at high speed past them, on the other - they are devoid of fear, and are ready to cross the road in front of the car, not realizing that the driver is simply unable to stop or turn to the side. Behind each of the road tragedies is the fate of the child and the grief of the parents. Therefore, I believe that it is impossible to remain indifferent when it comes to the safety of children. Traffic injuries are a problem that worries people all over the world. Getting a child in a traffic accident is a tragedy: after all, the moral and psychological shock that he experienced traumatizes him for life. The problem of child road traffic injuries remains relevant. Differentiated forms of work with children are increasingly needed.
In recent years, a lot of attention is paid to the rehabilitation of children in the summer, and a very large role in this is played by profile groups, in which children not only rest, but also learn. This form of active recreation contributes to the development and cohesion of both a temporary children's team and creates the basis for the development of the social intelligence of the student and the application of the experience of interaction in any team, including in subsequent educational activities.

In this work, children embody their ideas and imagination, using mastered theoretical and practical skills.Special attention on the study of traffic rules is paid to joint work with traffic police inspectors and parents. Thanks to this work, the foundations for the formation of a culture of communication and tolerance are laid.
Together with their parents, they prepare props and costumes for events, produce visual aids, and develop safe house-camp-house routes.
The traffic police inspector conducts daily theoretical and practical classes at the School of Traffic Light Sciences, talks, actions and preventive measures.
The program is aimed at the formation of students' basic knowledge, skills and safe behavior on the roads. Children learn traffic rules, behavior on the street, first aid. Thus, they acquire knowledge directly related to the protection of life and health, are involved in the promotion of traffic rules among children and adolescents.

The content of the program consists of three levels of complexity:

During the summer shift, participating in various activities, children receive tokens. At the end of the work of the camp, the results are summed up and experts of the traffic rules are identified. They are solemnly awarded prizes.

Specific methods used in the implementation of the program:
