V. Dorozhkina “With a small homeland I speak”
I look back from the shore in the distance:
You are my great land,
Here I meet the dawn, see off the dawn-
With a small homeland, I speak...
How can I not love you?
The heart is filled with strength.
I can't live without you, I can't create.
You can't be human without you.
You have raised great men,
You had such talents!
In the fields and in the shade of poplars
You charm with your beauty...
I look back from the shore in the distance:
You have become great, my land.
Here I meet the dawn, see off the dawn-
I speak to a small country.
Tambov Krai ... The land of boundless bread fields, forests, boundless steppe expanses. Bright and discreet landscapes are fraught with modest beauty. She inspired poets and artists to create remarkable works of literature and art.
V. Dorozhkina "There are provinces more beautiful ..."
There are more beautiful provinces,
Richer, more beautiful,
But Tambov is ours--
In the heart of Russia.
It began as a fortress,
It grew wide and high.
People have strength and strength.
And a boiling life...
From the history of education of Tambov region
Many generations of our ancestors lived on the Tambov land, as more than 1,000 archaeological sites tell. Until the 13th century, the main population - Mordva - Moksha, and along the banks of the Voronezh River there were few Russian settlements and fortresses. After the Tatar-Mongol invasion, the region became depopulated for many years, only Mordovian villages survived in the Tsnin forest. Numerous burial grounds and settlements give an idea of their life and occupations, customs and beliefs. They were engaged in agriculture, cattle breeding, fishing, stewardship, various crafts; they maintained contacts with their neighbors, including the Slavs. In 1521, the Tambov lands became part of the Russian state began to be settled by Russian settlers. To protect against the constant ruinous raids of the Tatars on the southern borders, new cities of Kozlov (1635) and Tambov (1636) were built. The Tambov fortress became a reliable protection of Russian lands from nomadic raids. This led to the rapid settlement of the region, and in the 18th century it became a large area of the country producing grain. In 1779, the Tambov viceroyalty was created, since 1796 it was renamed into the Tambov province with 12 counties: Tambov, Borisogleb, etc.
In 1937, the Tambov region was formed, and in 1967 it was awarded the Order for success in the development of economy and culture.
L.I. Sergeev "Hymn Tambov"
In the wild steppes,
Swamps and forests,
Outpost to Moscow
Tambov was born.
He pushed the forest.
Over the years, it grew stronger.
He didn't let the enemy in.
He's hardened.
Wicked Bird War
Rounded over him,
And she found out-
He's invincible!
And he was forever--
Our home and stronghold!
Let him live here for centuries,
My great people!

A poem
The sun rises in the morning.
Calls everyone outside.
I'm leaving the house.
Hello, my street.
I'm singing, high up.
Birds sing along to me.
Herbs whisper to me on the way:
Come on, buddy, grow up.
I answer herbs,
I answer the wind,
I answer the sun,
Hello, my motherland!
