Correctional occupation has a logically complete, holistic, time-limited system. In the correctional lesson, almost all the main elements of the correctional and educational process are presented: tasks, content, means, methods of organization.
The quality of the occupation depends on the correct definition of each of these components and their rational combination.
When building a correctional lesson, it is necessary to determine at what level the child will absorb the proposed material:
at the level of interaction in the process of related (joint) actions with the teacher;
at the level of interaction with the help of semi-adjoint (partially joint) actions with the teacher;
at the level of perception (work after a training experiment);
• at the level of application of knowledge by model;
• at the level of speech instruction.
The modern content of special education for children with special educational needs determines a number of mandatory requirements for correctional occupation, which must be taken into account when building the structure of the occupation:
• All classes have a flexible structure, designed taking into account the age characteristics of children and the severity of the defect.
Traditional techniques include the following types of work in the class:
The lesson should include both cognitive material and various relaxation exercises that contribute to the development of communication skills in children, enrich emotional experience, form personal development;
• inclusion in the structure of classes of tasks that contribute to the development of search activities;
• The presentation of the material in the lesson should be variable in its structure.
In some cases, ready-made information is presented in the form of a practical explanation, accompanied by a demonstration of certain actions with a simple speech instruction.
In other cases, a partial instruction is used, regulating the partial execution of an action, tasks with subsequent complications. Options of conjugated and semi-adjoint actions with the teacher are used.
