MOU SECONDARY SCHOOL NO. 6
g. Bavly of the Republic of Tatarstan

Objectives of the event:

  • Stimulate students' cognitive interest in the subject Informatics.
  • Form feelings of healthy competition, the ability to defend one’s views.
  • Develop mental activity, memory, and the ability to think logically.

The smartest in computer science

Event type: generalizing lesson-game.

Technology: group and individual work.

Equipment: computers, Multimedia Projector, Screen, Smartest in Computer Science Presentation, Signal Cards, Music Pause Discs.

Game rules

Tour one
12 contestants answer questions at once. 4 answer options and 5 seconds answer are given. After 6, 12 and 18 questions, contestants are shown the standings. After 18 questions, six semi-finalists are determined. If six winners are not found, then additional questions will be asked. The contestant who made it to the second round (if any) does not answer them. If after the sixth additional question several contestants have an equal number of points, then they will be given a speed task "find a couple" In it they will need to find pairs of words. For example, seasons and months. Whoever completes the task the fastest moves on to the next round.
Tour two
First, using the Decoder, the sequence numbers of participants will be determined. The word is encrypted using numbers. Each digit means one letter out of three. To make it easier for players, they are given a hint. Participants do not answer all at once, but in turns. In a minute they need to answer questions from 12 categories of knowledge. The three who score the maximum number of points will advance to the next round. If there is a draw, then a "find a couple to the word" competition will be held between participants
Tour three
Determining who will walk first will be helped by the "decoder" already familiar to us. Participants will then be presented with a field of 36 cells that will be opened to them for a few seconds. The cells contain nine category questions that participants chose before the game, as well as 9 questions from the General Knowledge category. For a correct answer in general knowledge, 1 point, in their category, 2 points, and in the opponent category, 3 points. The participant with the most points will become "Smartest" If there is no sole leader, then participants will be asked additional questions.
