Purpose:revival of national consciousness, development of student personality, preservation and strengthening of spiritual and moral values, ideas of continuity of generations and historical memory.

Tasks:

• To acquaint children with the main holidays of the Russian Orthodox Church, their history and traditions.
• help to realize the responsibility for the preservation of Orthodox traditions, through which moral and spiritual values and customs created by ancestors are transmitted.
• create conditions for the development of cognitive, communicative, moral, physical, aesthetic potential of the child’s personality;
• create conditions for intellectual, moral and emotional self-expression of the younger student;
• to develop a respectful and careful attitude to their past, history and culture of their people;
• educate the personality of the child who knows, respects the history and traditions of his people;

A game of Athanas and Nikolai.

Two drivers are selected - Afanas and Nikolai.
They are blindfolded, the rest of the players are running around and shouting to them: Athanas, catch us! Nikolai, catch up!
The goal of the drivers is to catch one of the players and guess by voice who it is. If one of the drivers manages to do so, the captured player becomes Afanas or Nicholas, depending on who caught it. He is blindfolded and the game continues. The size of the playground in this game is limited.
