The Holy Trinity!

Host:Hello, guys! We are not here for nothing today! Today is a great Christian holiday! Tell me what it's called? I'll help you! This holiday, which is associated with the flowering of young vegetation, was also called green Christmas trees, a holiday of honoring ancestors and glorifying the flourishing nature.
Children: Trinity!

Host:The event we commemorate took place 50 days after the Lord’s Resurrection. The disciples of Christ gathered in the upper room. As they fasted and prayed, they heard a noise as if from an impending storm. Over the heads of the disciples of Christ lit fiery tongues.
Host:Who remembers the symbol of this holiday?
Children:Birch.
Host:That's right, our beautiful birch. People decorated dwellings with greenery, branches of felled birches, flowers, sprinkled the floors with fragrant grass. And let’s celebrate this holiday, as it was done in Russia.
Children:Come on.
Host:Sit down on our sidewalk and I will tell you how this holiday was celebrated.
One of the most important Christian holidays is this week. This week is called "seven", "Rusal", "green". Semik – the seventh Thursday after Easter was considered a very big holiday, he opened a complex of rites, marking the farewell to spring and the meeting of summer, glorifying the green earth with the main symbol – birch. Houses and streets are decorated with cut birch branches, flowers. There are many beliefs associated with birch. Birch, the symbol of the holiday, was called “guest”, “cool”, “wreath”. The girls decorated the birch in maiden outfits, ribbons, beads, flowers.
- Guys, let's decorate the birch with ribbons (you have prepared multi-colored ribbons, tie them on the birch, making a wish)
All of them together (to the birch).
Birch, birch,
Get curly!
We curl the birch,
We're decorating it.
Mistress - Maryushka: That's how beautiful our birch trees have become! And you know that the Lord rested under the birch, so on this day he can enter any house to relax and bless under the birch. Let's sing a song for birch.
("In the field of the birch stood")
Host:
And now the auction, which is very secret,
Not so secret, though.
But notable in knowledge.
- We will ask you questions about our heroine - birch, and you will try to answer correctly.

Questions:

  • What is useful to us people, birch, what can we "take" from her? (Birch juice, you can make tea from the leaves)
  • Why do birch twigs make brooms?
  • Also, birch made rays. Who knows what that is? (The hut was lit for a long time by a birch ray. Before there were no candles, no light bulbs, so they made such shelves from birch, they were called rayina and they lit the hut.
  • What bird was baptized on Trinity Day? (Cuckoo)
  • What does it mean to feed birch porridge? (Whip the branch, punish)
  • What are mushrooms whose name is associated with birch? (Berry)
  • Birch has "clothing", from which they make wonderful dishes, line under a tight roof, make a lap for weaving baskets. What's it called? (Berestha)
  • What else is called in the people broom and where is it used? (It is called Golic, and is used in the bath for steam room and in the house for sweeping)

Host:We're stuck, let's play.

A game of Athanas and Nikolai.

Two drivers are selected - Afanas and Nikolai.
They are blindfolded, the rest of the players are running around and shouting to them: Athanas, catch us! Nikolai, catch up!
The goal of the drivers is to catch one of the players and guess by voice who it is. If one of the drivers manages to do so, the captured player becomes Afanas or Nicholas, depending on who caught it. He is blindfolded and the game continues. The size of the playground in this game is limited.

On the Trinity, the girls wove wreaths of flowers and greens on their heads. Making wreaths had magical meaning. Decorating themselves with greenery, the girls attached themselves to the vital force contained in vegetation. Wounding, plexus in a wreath of vines, hops, flowers, leaves is also a symbol of marriage. All of you on your head elegant wreaths let's guess what flowers we will weave today in our "Trinity wreath"?

Dandelion:
Over the parachute meadow
Swinging on the rod.
Chamomiles:
There is a curly curl in the garden - a white shirt,
Heart's golden. What is this?
Bell:
Hey, bells, blue,
I don't have a tongue.
Vasilek:
Blue head.
And a long stalk.
But who doesn't know him?
This is...
Sunflower:
They planted a seed, they grew a sunshine.
Lily:
The forest woke up in the spring,
Trees are floating in the wind.
Merry ... pearls
Under each bush burns.

Host:The Trinity is the Trinity. They forgive each other and exchange wreaths. Once it was believed that if the girlfriends on Trinity day got drunk, it means to be faithful to friendship.
There's a folk tune. Everybody goes in two circles. The inner circle goes to the right, the outer to the left. The music stops. Whoever stops against whom, through a wreath embraces, saying:
Let's go, coma, let's go!
We don't fight, we're friends!
Let's go, coma, let's go!
Let's make up with you, make up.

Host:Here we go! So we made up!
Hey, guys, move! Sing, play, have fun!
A game of "Girls."
There's music. Children jump, spin, dance.
The music is cut off and one of the skomorokhs calls the number: say - "Three". And all of them are shaking each other.
Three men.
Children immediately join hands and form "chorodik three".
Music.
The chorods are spinning.
Five! The children are united by five people... And so on.
On the Trinity holiday, the girls guessed.
Scarlet flowers tore,
The bouquets came,
Wreaths woven.
They put wreaths on the head.
Then they threw it into the river.
Whose wreath will float
Happiness in the house will lead:
And boys and girls decorated themselves with wreaths. And in the evening, after the festivities, they all walked together to the river and threw their wreaths into the river. They threw and noticed: a wreath swam - fortunately, it swirled on the spot - to a quarrel, drowned - wait for trouble. The wreaths that the water connected indicated friendship. And the grown-ups and the wedding.

Host:Do you want to guess?

  • Divination of girls on the narrowed (joking - throw darts in darts and read names)
  • Divination of boys on desire (joking with water and matches)
