The formation and development of the individual takes place throughout the life of the individual, but this process is especially clearly traced in childhood and adolescence It is at this time that many factors are laid that will serve as a guide for the further development of the individual's personality Every person, in the process of realizing himself as an individual, fulfills his social role. And here it is important that his social role does not conflict with society, does not introduce destructive elements, elements of destruction into society.
The process of socialization begins with the birth of a child and lasts for the whole life of a person This happens in the process of upbringing, education and self-education, when a person independently determines goals for himself and achieves them, when, having realized his self-esteem, he is confident in his position in the socialization of the individual is his language and behavior in everyday life, the ability to create, the perception of the culture of his people, etc. The formation of the individual occurs in the knowledge of the environment, good and evil, what will have to be faced in later life.
As is known, the socialization of the individual is a contradictory process On the one hand, it involves the adaptation of the individual to society and on the other, the isolation (alienation) of the individual from society In the context of the all-encompassing changes currently taking place in our society, the equilibrium between adaptation and isolation (alienation), which implies successful socialization, is disturbed. The fundamental changes in the various spheres of life have led to changes in the functions and specific weight of the various institutions of socialization, the disappearance of some of them (for example, all-Union children's and youth organizations have not become) and the emergence of new ones (for example, Boy Scout organizations). The adaptation of the personality of especially young people in a society of constant change is difficult, the individual does not keep up with the rapid course of events. The scope of maladaptation is expanding. Young people are forced to focus on individual, albeit important, life prospects; life values are changing.
Socialization is seen as a process that ensures the inclusion of a person in a particular social group, or community. The formation of a person as a representative of a given group, i.e. bearer of its values, norms, attitudes, orientations, etc., involves the development of the necessary properties and abilities in him.
Socialization, the education of the younger generation are considered in unity with the patterns of social reality, with the logic of the functioning and development of Russian society. The profound changes taking place in society have affected all spheres of its life, including the system of education, upbringing and socialization. Practice convinces that the transfer of socialization and education of the individual to a new state is a complex and contradictory problem.
The principles of education in their diversity can cover with appropriate influence the entire lives of children and teachers, along with pedagogical influence and interaction. In life, there is children’s assistance to teachers, and opposition, and resistance to them, and non-resistance to authority, and alienation from them. The child’s consciousness is formed gradually, during life and above all through the means of life itself. Therefore, in order to achieve a positive result in education, a teacher needs not only the principles of direct influence, but also indirect, indirect, long-term action on consciousness and habitual behavior through targeted and spiritual saturation of all areas of children’s life. The teacher must take into account the assistance of the children themselves to his efforts, when students overcome resistance and conscious opposition to educational measures, strive for active assimilation and acquisition of spiritual values.
In this regard, it is relevant to study the role of education in the socialization of the student’s personality.
A future specialist in the field of education needs knowledge of the basic patterns of the education process in the context of global informatization of society and education, the main types of information resources and information processes in society, the socio-pedagogical features of the process of informatization of education, the social aspects of information security of the individual and society.
