On April 25, 2016, all schools in Russia will host lessons dedicated to Shakespeare Day. This literary game is designed for students of the 9th grade. The teacher is the host. The competition of two teams is evaluated by the jury. The event involves a good knowledge of the text of the play “Hamlet, Prince of Denmark” translated by B. Pasternak.
Leading. F.M. Dostoevsky said: “Shakespeare is a prophet sent by God to tell us the secret of man, the human soul.” Today we will try to better understand the complex personalities of the heroes of one of the most famous tragedies of world literature.
Round I. Warm-up.

Teams are offered cards with quotations from the text of the play. Participants must name the hero to whom the phrase belongs.

If you carefully read his plays, you can understand that every phrase, every word is important for understanding the meaning. Let's see if you've read the tragedy carefully.

The jury evaluates the number of speakers from each team, the quality of performances. From 1 to 5 points are awarded to each speaker. Points add up.
Leading. I.S. Turgenev said: We Russians celebrate the memory of Shakespeare, and we have the right to celebrate it. For us, Shakespeare is not only a loud, bright name, which is worshipped only occasionally and from afar: he has become our property, he has entered our flesh and blood.
At the end of the competition, the results are summed up, the winning team is awarded, evaluations are presented.
