In 1927, a man named Anapia moved to the shore of this lake. The daughters-in-law of Anapia - a jenger, noticing a birthmark on his leg, jokingly began to call him "Kaldyayak", which means "mole on the leg." Gradually, people began to forget his real name anapia, and began to call him Kaldayak.
In 1930, a boy was born in the Kaldayak family. A friend of Kaldayak Kudaibergen named the baby Shamshid, in honor of the great king Shamshid.
From an early age, Kaldayak lulled Shamshid to the sounds of dombra, amused the baby with the melody of a kobyz. After 30 years, the Kazakh people will call this baby the “king of the waltz”.
And it started very simply. At the age of 20, Shamshi graduated from the Kaplanbek Zooveterinary College. Soon he was admitted to the Tashkent Music School at the Faculty of Music Theory, and then studied at the Alma-Ata Conservatory at the Faculty of Composition.
The composer wrote his first works here, within the walls of the conservatory and the best advisers and teachers were Ahmet Zhubanov and Latif Hamidi.
For 40 years of creative activity, Kaldayakov created about 100 musical works. The main theme of his work is the theme of love. This theme is devoted to songs that are pearls of singing art.
